As a trial lawyer, John has earned numerous awards, including:

To be the best, John has always sought to learn from the best. That includes learning from and working with local and national legal legends. John has also dedicated large amounts of time to finding and reading cutting-edge resources about advocacy.

His goal with this blog is to create a curated collection, to make those tools available to anyone who wants to be a better advocate.

Outside of the law, John's passion is the outdoors. He's travelled through the back country of Colorado, Idaho, and Wyoming with friends and family. He's always ready for an adventure to explore the unknown.

John is also an Ironman triathlete. He's completed events in Arizona, Mexico, and across Texas. He earned the Silver All World Athlete in 2015. John has never found a challenge he wasn't ready to take on.
